No Abuse
Abuse is where we treat someone poorly, cruelly, improperly, or to a bad effect.
So, basically, abuse is hurting someone else, whether intentional or not.
Unified Ascent does not make distinctions between abuse types, including physical, mental, emotional, or sexual, regardless of race, gender, or creed - they are all bad, to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Unified Ascent does not want anyone to experience short-term abuse symptoms, either through direct or indirect abuse, including physical symptoms, emotional symptoms, psychological symptoms, or behavioural symptoms.
Unified Ascent does not want anyone to experience long-term abuse symptoms, either through direct or indirect abuse, including shame, guilt, anxiety, depression, relationships difficulties, or normalised abuse.
Unified Ascent does not want abuse cycles, including perpetuating abuse (harming others), self-abuse (harming self), or generational abuse (harming families and children across time).
In short, Unified Ascent wants:
No Abuse | No Abuse Types | No Abuse Symptoms | No Abuse Cycles |

Collective Calling
At Unified Ascent, a Collective Calling including assuming love, sharing responsibility, and unifying our trust are key pillars allowing us to create our best world. Together, we have the power to transform ourselves, our relationships, and our world. When we operate from a place of love, shared responsibility, and trust, we unlock our collective potential, creating a world where all are empowered, uplifted, and inspired.
In short:
Collective Calling | Loving Assumed | Shared Responsibility | Unified Trust
3.1 Loving Assumed
Unified Ascent sees assumptions and labels as tools for growth and understanding.
When we categorise people, we better understand ourselves and one another.
However, these tools should always be used with love, care, and respect.
This includes:
Avoiding Negative Assumptions:
For example, stereotypes, prejudice, or negative judgements are dangerous - they are forms of abuse. We strive to approach others with openness and understanding, recognising that each person's journey is unique. The simple rule is "Help everyone, and never make things worse for anyone."
Loving Labels:
Labels help us understand who we are, where we come from, and how we're related to each other. Without labels, we are isolated entities, floating in space. At Unified Ascent, we encourage the use of labels and assumptions, but only in loving, uplifting, and empowering way. Labels should be seen as stepping stones, helping us to grow and evolve, not as permanent identifiers. Like a snake shedding its skin, we shed old labels as we grow, but those labels remain essential for defining the moments when we were fully ourselves. The key is: Don’t be confined by your labels, but learn from them and use them to evolve.
Assume the Best:
When we make assumptions about others, we are seeking to understand them better. The more poorly we treat people, they more poorly they become. If we treat people well, they act well. At Unified Ascent, we are making our best world, by assuming the best identities. By assuming the best identities, we are imagining what our best world looks like. What is your best identity?
Identity Journey's:
nobody has one identity that defines them fully. Everyone has many identities that evolve across time. Some of our identities are new, some change, and some end. When we label you with an identity, this reflects a moment in Time, as part of a fluid, ever-evolving process. No identity represents your entire self.
When loving is assumed, we are cautious about using demographics or personal biases based on race, gender or background. Instead, we are seeking to understand your best self, via your interests, skills, and ideas - by your hopes, dreams and desires, for Us All.

3.2 Shared Responsibility
Unified Ascent promotes shared responsibility between giver, receiver, and an environment.
You, me, and Us All have shared responsibility for every interaction.
This shared responsibility extends to many Things.
It includes:
Yourself | Your Relation | Our Relations
Speaker | Listener | Dialogue
Teacher | Student | Learning
Caregiver | Patient | Healing
Creator | Created | Creation
Dreamer | Doer | World
Past | Present | Future
In All cases, Unified Ascent promotes sharing responsibility for resolving issues between all parties.
Unified Ascent does not seek to take sides, simply to encourage relationships that lead to our best lives, as individuals, as communities, and as Us All.
Taking our No Abuse scenario, Unified Ascent also promotes shared responsibility between:
Abuser | Victim | Abuse
Where, each role includes abuse, and therefore, at our core, it is everyone's responsibility to reduce the abuse.
This page explores shared responsibility scenarios and use cases in more detail:

3.3 Unified Trust
Unified Ascent trusts our shared humanity.
The more we trust each other, the stronger our shared foundation becomes. This trust empowers us to be our most authentic, evolved selves, individually and collectively.
With Unified Trust, we can be better versions of our best selves.
We require shared values, that we all accept, to achieve this.
Unified Ascent does not yet have a list of universal values, or guidelines for life that it suggests.
Unified Ascent is seeking to initiate based on the principle that the more we can trust each other - trust each other with respect, safety, understanding, empowerment, kindness, and accountability - the more we can grow, with Unified Trust, together.
